The CW loves its superheroes. The network already boasts hits in "Arrow" and "The Flash," as well as the spinoff "Legends of Tomorrow." Next season, it adds "Supergirl," which is moving from CBS.
The network renewed nearly every one of its shows, so there isn't a ton of room on the fall schedule. Indeed, even established series like "The Originals" and "Reign" appear to be waiting in the wings for midseason.
Here are the trailers for The CW's new shows:
"Frequency," a reimagining of the 2000 film, follows a detective (Peyton List) who can communicate with her dead father through the radio. This causes her to experience dual timelines, one in which her father died and one in which he didn't:
"No Tomorrow" is all about carpe diem, when Evie Callahan (Tori Anderson) meets a new guy (Jesse Rath) who says the apocalypse is coming. It doesn't, but his prediction does cause Evie to live more outrageously:
"Supergirl" moves from CBS to its sister network, and continues the adventures of Kara (Melissa Benoist), the cousin of Superman:
