It's official: The CW has canceled freshman shows "Frequency" and "No Tomorrow."
The cancellation comes as no surprise, since neither series received orders for additional episodes beyond the initial 13. This marks the first time in The CW's 11-year history that none of their new fall shows was renewed.
The only new series that will return is the Archie Comics adaptation "Riverdale," which debuted in midseason.
Neither "Frequency" nor "No Tomorrow" found much of audience. Both averaged less than 1.5 million viewers and a dismal 0.3-0.4 in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
"Frequency" was a reboot of the 2000 movie, starring Peyton List as detective who can communicate with her dead father through a radio. "No Tomorrow" was a dramedy that paired a buttoned-up achiever (Tori Anderson) with a devil-may-care maverick (Joshua Sasse).
The official cancellation leaves only "The Originals" and "iZombie" as the remaining CW shows whose fates are up in the air.
