"When the fight comes to you, you have to be ready to fight back," says Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) in a new teaser for "Cobra Kai," YouTube Red's upcoming sequel series to "The Karate Kid" movies.
The first teaser reunited Daniel and his old rival Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The second teaser focused on down-and-out Johnny and his effort to revive his old dojo and teach his style of karate to a new generation.
This one provides a glimpse at what Danny boy's been up to. Well, he's all grown up, he's got a wife and a teen daughter (Mary Mouser), and he's showing off his martial arts moves to dazzle clients at his car dealership. And he still can't help tweaking Johnny's nose when he gets the chance.
In one shot, Daniel can be seen training alongside someone, perhaps his daughter? You know, Johnny has a son. Could we see a Romeo and Juliet type romance between these enemies' children?
"Cobra Kai" streams on YouTube Red later this year.
