In the new issue of Glamour, Johansson revealed that she finds the moniker more infuriating than endearing, and made it clear she doesn't have much respect for the people who use it.
"I associate that name with, like, pop stars," the actress told the magazine. "It sounds tacky. It's lazy and flippant. And there's something kind of violent about it. There's something insulting about it."
While we can understand where she's coming from with the pop star comparison, we're a bit confused by her calling the nickname violent. Does she think it makes her sound like a movie villain? As if she and JLaw -- sorry, Jennifer Lawrence -- will team up to destroy us all?
We understand that Johansson wants to be taken seriously as an actress (and a new mom-to-be), but that doesn't mean she has to take away our fun. Guess us common folk will just have to be tacky and lazy about someone else from now on.
