Jennifer Aniston (and Her 'Bubble Butt') Named World's Most Beautiful Woman

Jennifer Aniston is still "Friends" with People magazine. They just named her the World's Most Beautiful Woman and popped her on the cover of their annual edition.

The 47-year-old actress told People she was "very, very flattered" when she was told she was chosen. "I thought, 'Oh my God.' There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment."

Because the issue is about beauty -- inner and outer -- she talked about starting to take care of her body early in her career, after an agent told her she was rejected for a part for being "too chubby." (Pause to deep sigh for a world where Jennifer Aniston was ever too chubby for anything.) Here's how Aniston reacted to that diss: "I was like, 'What?!' But my diet was terrible. Milk shakes and French fries with gravy [laughs]. It was a good thing to start paying attention." If by "terrible" she means awesome... but now she exercises at least six days a week for an hour each day and watches what she eats. But she does indulge with favorites like chips and guac, and her husband Justin Theroux's pasta carbonara.

Aniston also answered a question on what she's had to accept about her appearance over the years, and she said she's never loved her butt. "It's sort of a thing. I had a bubble butt and was teased." (Can't picture her with anything like a bubble butt, but she said it's funny that people do squats and get injections to have bigger butts today.)

And in case you're wondering if we'll ever see Jennifer Aniston with short hair -- it's a pass. However, in theory, she'd like to try a pixie cut, but only "[i]f I knew I could instantly push it back. I'm very curious to see what I would look like with really short hair. But I'll never do it. Never. I'm a long hair girl. It's like a security blanket."

Check out more in the new issue of People.

Past "Most Beautiful Woman" covers have gone to Michelle Pfeiffer, Jodie Foster, Cindy Crawford, Courteney Cox, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Lupita Nyong'o, Beyonce, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, and Nicole Kidman.
