Baby James Reynolds is going to grow up with issues surrounding mashed potatoes. Just calling that now.
Blake Lively, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, was just on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to talk about Father's Day. Normally, she said, she and Ryan make a point to not work at the same time, but this year they were apart for Father's Day. Blake was on a plane with their daughter, James, and she said it was "torture" because, everywhere she looked, every screen showed her husband in sex montages with another woman. "Because everyone wants to watch 'Deadpool' on the plane, everyone." So that meant Blake and her daughter had to watch Daddy in, um, compromising positions.
"For 14 hours, having your husband having, like, mashed potatoes eaten out of his butthole -- 'cause that's in the film -- it's lovely. It's a cruel and unusual form of torture. And my daughter goes, 'Dada!' She starts like hugging and kissing the screen and waving at him, and he's not waving back, and she doesn't understand why he's not waving back. She thinks it's like FaceTime, and it's 'cause Daddy's getting it with the mashed potatoes."
Ahhh. Yes. That's. Well. Hmmm. That's certainly awkward at best. Watch for yourself:
There was probably a way to avoid having the kid (not yet 2) watch any "Deadpool" scenes, but at least she's getting an early education in modern cinema ... as well as other stuff.
