Sometimes, "Game of Thrones" is almost too much to handle, and Sunday was one of those times.
Read on only if you're prepared for spoilers from Season 7, Episode 6, "Beyond the Wall."
The episode brought real progress for Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington), yet for many "Game of Thrones" fans, those strides were nothing but a sideshow to the (hopefully) budding romance between Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie). The wildling man and "the big woman" didn't even come face to face in "Beyond the Wall," but they had many of us barely able to contain ourselves.
Ever since HBO accidentally released the episode early, Tormund and Brienne shippers have been extra tweet-happy. The episode offered tons of Twitter fodder, starting with Tormund telling the Hound (Rory McCann) all about his desire to win her over and have huge, conquering babies. Of course, that got us more invested in them, and the show's writers used it against us. Not long thereafter, Tormund nearly died, making us fear that those wonderful, giant children would never exist.
Episode 6 was a roller-coaster for Tormund and Brienne fans, so naturally, the tweets rolled in. As you'll see below, if you're watching the show just for them now, you're not the only one.
