If you thought "Star Wars" fans were excited for the release of "Episode VII" next year, wait until you read this note from director J.J. Abrams to the film's cast and crew.
While it doesn't contain any spoilers about the hotly-anticipated flick, the handwritten message, scrawled on what appears to be a page of the "Episode VII" script, is still fascinating, in that it proves just how important the film is to Abrams -- and how much the director wants to keep the "Star Wars" legacy intact.
The full text of the note (in case you can't read Abrams's handwriting):
Abrams isn't kidding when he says "The world awaits this film." Fans should be glad the flick has such a conscientious person at the helm.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. It opens on December 18, 2015.

Dearest Cast and Crew, What an honor it is to work beside all of you, on Star Wars - Ep VII. I can't thank you enough, for all work past and future. Let's take good care, of not just ourselves, but of each other. Amazing, but true: The world awaits this film. Let's give 'em something GREAT. xo JJ
