Best of Late Night TV: Tom Cruise's Amazing Lip Sync Battle, 'The Bachelorette' Snapchat Explained

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Tom Cruise remains one of the world's greatest entertainers, and he proved it Monday night on "The Tonight Show." He and Jimmy Fallon wowed the crowd with two amazing rounds of "Lip Sync Battle," starting with Tom almost rivaling queen Emma Stone (that battle would be close) with The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" and a duet with himself in Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." Jimmy brought his A-game too, of course, and they ended with a two-person duet of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" -- a nice nod to "Top Gun" -- which was performed as a serenade to an embarrassed/thrilled woman in the audience.

In his very smiley sit-down interview, Tom listened to Jimmy tell their vinyl recommendation story and then listened to Jimmy gush about "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation." Jimmy is always a gusher but he outgushed himself this time. Let the guest talk a bit more, maybe. Tom did discuss getting hit by a tiny rock while doing a stunt and, since they were going at such high speed, it struck him hard in his rib. Plus, he also had to train to hold his breath for six minutes (!) for one scene, because they do really long takes in the movie and he always wants to shoot everything practical.

"The Bachelorette" couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, whose engagement was just shown on last night's finale, were both on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to explain that Snapchat video that spoiled their own season. Apparently it really was a mistake. They wanted to send it to one of the producers of the show and instead Kaitlyn sent it out. At first, they thought Shawn had done it and Kaitlyn was so mad at him, and then he realized no it was her. Jimmy said ABC was so mad that they even tried to blame him for a bit. But it's not like it hurt the ratings and it was a "happy" ending -- as opposed to the running spoiler at the time -- so no harm, no foul?

Kaitlyn and Shawn also swore on a stack of Us Weeklys that they will really get married, or at least be together one year from today, or it will have been a waste of everyone's time and they'll owe Jimmy $1,000.

Jimmy and Guillermo also took Kaitlyn shopping for wedding dresses, and you have to watch the video -- if only to see the guys try on bridesmaids' dresses. Boys, you looked beautiful. #nobullying

Owen Wilson was also on JKL and talked about going in a less modelish and more "doughy" direction while filming "Zoolander 2" in Italy.

Mark Ruffalo, Amy Smart, and Jason Schwartzman were on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and they played Sardines, which is kind of like Hide and Seek. Reggie Watts had 15 seconds to hide in the studio and James and the guests all had to go find him and hide with him until there was only one left. The loser was not happy to have lost!
U.S. soccer star Carli Lloyd was on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and Seth asked why the women do less diving and flopping than the men. Carli gave a very polite answer, just speaking for how she likes to go after opponents, and discussed the frustrations of playing on turf vs. grass.
