'Stranger Things' Star Sadie Sink Hopes Max Will Win Over Eleven in Season 3

Now that "Stranger Things" Season 3 has finally been confirmed, the hit show's fans and stars alike can enjoy dreaming up possible storylines.

Sadie Sink has been doing just that. A newcomer to the show in Season 2, the young actress's character, Max, soon got involved in the supernatural mysteries of Hawkins, Indiana. Although she had to push her way in, she ended up being reluctantly accepted into the party made up of Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Will (Noah Schnapp) after Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) disappeared. Next up for Max, Sink hopes, will be getting Eleven's seal of approval.

Sink discussed her ideas for the friendship during a recent interview with Bustle, telling the site she hopes there will be "some girl power," possibly with Max, Eleven, and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) working together. In particular, she thinks the younger two girls "could make a really good team."

Eleven and Max did meet briefly in Season 2, but it didn't go well. Eleven was jealous after seeing the new girl spending time with Mike, and Sink wants to see that sorted out.

"I want Eleven and Max to have their friendship," she said. "I don't want to be left off of that, so I'm hoping that's resolved."

The shows creators, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, aren't revealing much, but we do know that the show will jump forward in time. With that being the case, the girls' relationship could already be in a better place when Season 3 picks up. At the same time, the Duffers could choose to make that part of the story instead. For now, it's all another Hawkins mystery.

"Stranger Things" Season 3 is expected to premiere in late 2018 at the earliest.
