If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
Sofia Vergara stopped by "The Tonight Show" to promote her new perfume, Sofia, and brought a sample for host Jimmy Fallon. The "Modern Family" star also asked Fallon if they could do a Lip Flip segment, since she was such a big fan of the bit, and always wanted to interview herself. Fallon enjoyed imitating Vergara's accent, while Vergara poked fun at Fallon's bromance with Justin Timberlake. The segment ended with the pair doing a short duet to Gloria Estefan's "Conga."
"The Blacklist" star Megan Boone also chatted with Fallon, though the actress was tight-lipped about revealing anything about the show -- so tight-lipped, in fact, that she momentarily pretended she couldn't speak.
On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Courteney Cox discussed the 20th anniversary of the premiere of "Friends," and reminisced about how she and her co-stars would get together every week to watch the show in its early years. Host Jimmy Kimmel also scolded the actress for messing up the iconic hand claps from the "Friends" theme song during her last visit to "Live," giving her an opportunity to make up for it Monday.
Cox was there to chat about a new syndicated show she was producing, "Celebrity Name Game," and she and Kimmel played a round themselves -- though the actress admitted she wasn't very good at pop culture trivia.
Cox also shared an anecdote about her recent engagement, to Snow Patrol member Johnny McDaid, and how her daughter helped plan the proposal. The event was supposed to occur after dinner at Jennifer Aniston's house, Cox said, but her daughter was a little impatient. The actress also recounted a recent vacation in which she had a hard time making friends with her fellow travelers.
Another show celebrating an anniversary Monday night was "Lost," and Kimmel called up one of its stars, Malcolm David Kelley, to chat about the series on its 10th birthday. Kelley played Walt (a.k.a. WAAAAAAAAALT!), and reminisced with Kimmel about his character's dog, Vincent. The former actor -- he's now a member of the band MKTO, currently touring with Demi Lovato -- said he planned to celebrate the series's milestone by binge-watching it on Netflix.
"Selfie" star John Cho also sat down with Kimmel to talk about the new ABC sitcom, which he admitted had a terrible name. But Cho said he was hoping that those who judged the program based on its moniker would revise their opinions once they actually watched it. The actor also reminisced about a time he met one of his celebrity idols, Morrissey, and how the singer was incredibly rude.
Mark Harmon chatted with "Late Show" host David Letterman about his stint on "The Dating Game" years ago, though the actor admitted that he didn't have much luck with the dating aspect of the series. Harmon also recounted the experience of working with wolves on the "NCIS" set, and how he didn't trust that the animals' handlers would save him from a sudden attack.
