Fresh off its successful first batch of episodes -- which are set to wrap up this weekend -- Starz has already announced the return date for the second half of the first season of "Outlander."
The historical time-travel romance will return for its final eight episodes on April 4, 2015. Its midseason finale will air this coming Saturday.
"Outlander," based on the bestselling book series by Diana Gabaldon, has been a huge hit for Starz, especially in recent weeks, scoring 3.8 million viewers for its hotly-anticipated wedding episode. It's frequently performed well for the cable network throughout its run, and should remain strong going into its eighth and final episode before the midseason hiatus.
The show has already been renewed for a second season, with each season expected to cover the events of one of the eight novels in Gabaldon's book series. No premiere date for season two has been announced yet.
