Best of Late Night TV: Barbra Streisand Duets, Ike Barinholtz's Obama Impression, Jane Fonda's Breasts (VIDEO)

Barbra Streisand, Jimmy Fallon, Barbra Streisand duet

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Music legend Barbra Streisand made her triumphant return to late night television with her first appearance on "The Tonight Show" in more than 50 years. Streisand was promoting her new album of duets, "Partners," and host Jimmy Fallon stood in for several of said partners to help Babs perform a medley. Fallon impersonated Elvis, Blake Shelton, and Michael Buble, while Streisand remained her fabulous self.

Later, Streisand sat down with Fallon (who let her sit behind the desk in honor of her milestone appearance), where she critiqued his musical abilities. "Do you really want to be a singer?" Babs asked, a note of incredulity in her voice. "I wouldn't quit your night job." All kidding aside, Streisand said she and her husband, James Brolin, were huge fans of Fallon's "Tonight," and also chatted about her experiences coming on the the show as an 18-year-old, back when Johnny Carson was still the program's fresh-faced host.

Fallon admitted that he thought Streisand would be a bit of a diva when she came on the show, saying that if anyone had earned the right to act in such a fashion, it was her. Streisand demurred, telling Fallon, "I'm quite ordinary," and adding that she wanted to write a book to dispel some of the rumors about her that have been floating around for years.

On "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Mindy Project" star Ike Barinholtz stopped by and showed off his impressive impression of President Barack Obama, who the actor used to play basketball with back in Chicago years ago. Obama has an "aircraft carrier loud" voice, Barinholtz said, showing off several examples of the president's projection skills. The actor also chatted about his work on HBO series "Eastbound & Down," and how he used his childhood experience growing up next to loud Russian immigrants to inspire his character.

Both Barinholtz and Kimmel are parents, and the pair commiserated about how life is different now that they have young daughters. Barinholtz lamented that his football-watching schedule is completely changed now, where his friends all bring over their kids and it becomes a "Captain Phillips"-style situation. "You have these thugs yelling at you in a language you don't understand," the actor explained.

Jane Fonda also dropped by to promote "This Is Where I Leave You," and chatted about the prosthetic breasts she wore for the role, which were custom made. The prop got lots of laughs from the audience, Fonda said, but there were other perks, too. "When you have tits that big, people treat you differently," the actress noted.

Fonda also shared the embarrassment of growing up with a strange name as a child -- her real, full name is Lady Jayne Seymour Fonda -- and how she made a conscious effort to change it. She also shared some memories from working with Dolly Parton on the set of "9 to 5."

Kimmel also trotted out Snoop Dogg for another installment of Plizzanet Earth, where the rapper discussed crocodiles, and their thirst for wildebeest blood. While watching a clip of wildebeests drinking from a watering hole, Snoop knew where things were going. "Look at these dumb f--ks," the rapper sneered as a croc latched on to one of the wildebeests legs.

Over on "Conan," Nasim Pedrad chatted with host Conan O'Brien about all the impressions she used to do on "Saturday Night Live," including a dead-on imitation of Kim Kardashian. But there was one impression that Pedrad desperately wanted to do that never made it to air, she revealed, bringing along a clip of her playing comedian Aziz Ansari that was cut before dress rehearsal. The "Mulaney" star referred to the impression as "a real boner killer," though O'Brien assured her that he didn't mind.
