Scarlet Witch and Loki are teaming up: Elizabeth Olsen is set to join Tom Hiddleston in the upcoming Hank Williams biopic "I Saw the Light."
Olsen will join her Marvel Universe compatriot as Williams's wife, Audrey Mae, in the film, based on a 1994 biography of the legendary country singer. Hiddleston, who will also perform music as Williams, has already displayed his country crooning chops; it's unclear if Olsen will sing in the flick, too.
"I Saw the Light" is set to feature a number of Williams's biggest hits, including "Move It On Over," "Your Cheatin' Heart," and "Hey Good Lookin'." It will tell the story of his rise to fame post-World War II, and his death at age 29 while suffering from spina bifida, alcoholism, and drug addiction.
Production is expected to start in October in Louisiana. Marc Abraham is writing and directing.
