Meryl Streep Will Give You Nightmares in New 'Into the Woods' Poster

Be careful what you wish for.



That's the ominous tagline on the first poster for "Into the Woods," which features a witchy Meryl Streep crawling through thorny branches (to getcha!).

The iconic Oscar-winning actress headlines the star-studded cast of director Rob Marshall's film adaptation of the Tony-winning musical. "Into the Woods" mashes up several fairy tales including Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), and Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone). They're all tied together by the central story of The Baker (James Corden) and his wife (Emily Blunt), who are childless due to a curse cast by The Witch (Streep).



"Into the Woods" hits theaters Dec. 25.
