If you found out your boyfriend was secretly married, would you immediately break up with him, or mess with him first?
Cameron Diaz goes for the latter option in the new trailer for "The Other Woman," when she shows up at her boyfriend's ("Game of Thrones" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) house only to find his wife (Leslie Mann) instead. The two of them decide that rather than fight over the jerk, they'll get revenge instead, and convene for several drunken brainstorming sessions.
As they spy on him, they discover more mistresses, one played by Kate Upon, who's basically around for eye candy purposes only. They rope her into their plot, too, which involves exposing some of his underhanded business dealings. (Though Upton's suggestion that they kick him in the balls sounds like it would work, too.)
"Put the lawyer, the wife, and the boobs together, and we know how to do it just as shady as he does," Diaz says, later adding: "We're the weirdest friends ever."
It's a cute enough concept, though its execution will no doubt come down to its leads. Luckily, it seems Diaz and Mann have plenty of chemistry, at least in this clip.
Audiences will have a chance to see how it all pans out when "The Other Woman" opens April 25, 2014.
