Love is crazy, y'all, even (or especially) when you're a "Working Girl" and he's a "Desperado." People reports that Melanie Griffith has filed for divorce from Antonio Banderas after 18 years together, which is like 100 years in Hollywood time. They have one daughter together, Stella, who's 17. (Griffith's daughter Dakota Johnson, whose father is Don Johnson, is starring in the upcoming "50 Shades of Grey" adaptation dakas Anastasia Steele.)
Banderas has quite a few films coming up, with the release of "The Expendables 3" this August, the Chilean miner drama "The 33" later this year or in early 2015, and a bunch of other projects in the works. Banderas was slated to direct Griffith in the movie "Akil," but it's unclear if the movie ever actually started filming. They also co-star in the sci-fi drama "Autómata," which is in post-production but doesn't currently have a US distribution date.
Banderas and Griffith met on the set of "Two Much" in 1995, which co-starred Daryl Hannah.
