When "Batman" debuted on June 23, 1989, Michael Keaton convinced those who doubted his casting, and audiences ate up Tim Burton's dark carnival aesthetic.
Both Keaton and Burton were back for 1992's "Batman Returns," and oh how we missed them when Joel Schumacher took over the director's chair.
Jack Nicholson still makes "best of" lists for his villainous turn as The Joker, but we'd like to forget about Prince's "Batdance." (Yes, please do use it as self-defense against zombies.)
What has the cast been up to since 1989? Oh, just some Oscars here and there, "Dancing With the Stars" and ... "Birdman"?
