New TSN sportscaster Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell) made his Canadian broadcasting debut during the opening day of the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings on Sunday, Dec. 1 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Ferrell, suited up as his "Anchorman" and "Anchorman 2" character Burgundy, took the ice and then joined TSN's curling team to call the action live. Let's just say he added some "colour" commentary.
"I feel like I can bring some dignity and class to the sport," said the straight-faced Burgundy. "Stay classy, Winnipeg."
