This Ice Bucket Challenge thing, which is for a great cause (fighting ALS), is also extremely weird -- and taken over the entire Internet, seemingly, with its ability to get celebrities to strip down and embarrass themselves by dumping a bucket of ice water on their heads. But when it came time for Amy Schumer to do the challenge, she didn't quite understand the rules (via Gawker).
First, she starts off the video by challenging Don Rickles, Mel Brooks and Bob Newhart -- three incredibly old comedians who would probably die if they dumped a bucket of ice water on themselves. Then there's the kicker... Schumer, who stars in her own Comedy Central series "Inside Amy Schumer" and who wrote and will star in Judd Apatow's next movie "Trainwreck" (out next summer), reaches into an ice bucket and pulls out what looks to be a can of creamy mushroom soup (or something equally disgusting). She then pours it all over herself. Then the camera person chimes in: "Uh, it was supposed to be ice." Schumer shoots back: "It was supposed to be what?"
It's pretty funny and probably the best/most cringe-worthy challenge yet. Just watch it already.
