Best of Late Night TV: 'Chelsea Lately's' Star-Studded Final Show, Idris Elba's Ice Bucket Challenge (VIDEO)

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

Tuesday night was Chelsea Handler's star-studded farewell for her E! show, "Chelsea Lately." There were tons of A-list superstars on hand -- including Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, 50 Cent, Fergie, Tim Gunn, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette, Gwen Stefani, a dog and more. The first video below shows Chelsea's A-list intervention, with friends Jennifer, Sandra, and Mary McCormack. In the second video, Gwen leads a sing-a-long throwing shade at E! -- and Gwen even mispronounces Chelsea's name in a callback to her recent Emmys flub. As the confetti falls at the end of the final video, you can hear Chelsea say she's proud that she didn't cry. Don't worry, though, 'cause she'll see you all on Netflix!

Over on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the hotness that is Idris Elba did the Ice Bucket Challenge on air, nominating Bradley Cooper, Taraji P. Henson, and Prince Harry. Go for it Prince Ginge! Idris also discussed his recent viral photo, which was misunderstood to be showing his, um, ample packaging. But, as he tweeted before, he explained that the bulge was just a mic wire. He knew he had to speak out when he saw the pic being discussed on CNN. There are worse problems to have!

Jimmy K also had Tim Gunn, who pulled double duty by also being on Chelsea's final show. Tim discussed Jimmy's Emmys outfit and spoke out against Crocs. Jimmy also shared a great video of Guillermo interviewing celebs back-to-back at the 2014 Emmys. It's wonderfully awkward. Bryan Cranston was there talking about his dastardly mustache. Guillermo does not feel like Bryan's new stache is sexy. Do you agree?

On the "Late Show With David Letterman," Dave talked to Howie Mandel about his germ issues and his discomfort with bathroom attendants. He also shared an "America's Got Talent" ambush audition, and recalled his time on "St. Elsewhere."

On a more serious note, Rachel Maddow talked to Dave about political issues, including the tensions in Missouri and ISIS. Good debate material here!
