"True Blood" is over, but we'll be getting a dose of Pam's biting sass thanks to "Once Upon a Time," the ABC show about a small town full of characters from fairy tales.
Kristin Bauer van Straten is returning to the show to reprise her role as Maleficent, the purple-clad baddie who was supposedly offed at the end of the first season. Guess Maleficent didn't meet the True Death, eh? Van Straten's character will reportedly have a major arc, so we're hoping to see lots more fabulous villainy, and perhaps even more about Maleficent's life before she broke bad.
This isn't the first time that "Once" has gotten all Disneyfied on us. There's also going to be a "Frozen" arc in the ABC show, with Elizabeth Lail as Anna and Georgina Haig as icy Queen Elsa. The real question is whether this Maleficent will have more in common with Angelina Jolie's take on the character or the OG illustrated one.
We're still holding out hope for an Eric and Pam "True Blood" spin-off, though.
"Once Upon a Time" returns on September 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
