My, how time flies. The latest leak in Quentin Tarantino's ship is the teaser for his next movie, "The Hateful Eight." It's running before screenings of "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," but somehow it's made its way to the Internet. Imagine that! Who would do such a thing? Guess we'll have to wait and see if anyone forces this anonymous user to choose between taking it down and facing the auteur's litigious wrath.
If you'll remember, Quentin Tarantino was threatening to shelve "The Hateful Eight" for the indefinite future after a mysterious script leak last January. In April, he held a three and a half hour live reading of the script in Los Angeles with a cast of his favorite actors. A few weeks ago, the poster for "The Hateful Eight" appeared in Empire, complete with a release date - well, a release year, anyway.
"The Hateful Eight" hasn't even started production, so this teaser is comprised of cool-looking graphics: leaked-teaser-quentin-tarantinos-hateful-eighta snowy vista, splashes of blood, sketches of the titular eight, etc. That includes some things we knew about - the bounty hunter, the damsel in distress, etc. - and some curious tidbits, like the Little Man and the Cow Puncher. We really hope that Zoe Bell plays the Cow Puncher.
"The Hateful Eight" is slated for a 2015 release.
