If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star Megan Fox stopped by "The Tonight Show" and played some Pictionary with host Jimmy Fallon and fellow guests Nick Cannon and Wiz Khalifa (who performs the "Turtles" theme song). Partners Fox and Cannon got off to a rough start, missing their first two attempts at illustrating phrases, while Fallon and Khalifa seemed in sync -- until they got the item "Corn Dog." Fox and Cannon ultimately reigned supreme in the game, though Khalifa's WTF-worthy attempt at drawing a dog was the real winner.
Cannon chatted with Fallon about his gig hosting "America's Got Talent," and discussed a prank he pulled on judges Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, Melanie Brown (a.k.a. Scary Spice), and Heidi Klum, in which he dressed up as a mime and attempted to win over the panel. The bit was a flop, and as the judges ripped into him, Cannon decided to give them a taste of their own medicine, causing Mandel to seek shelter. "You know you're not tough when you've got to hide behind a Spice Girl," Cannon quipped.
Chloe Grace Moretz, star of "If I Stay," visited "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and discussed the unique set of fans that she's acquired thanks to starring in the upcoming adaptation of the popular YA novel. Moretz said that most of her existing fans were older men, thanks to her work in "Kick-Ass," but now she's meeting lots of 12- and 13-year-old girls who love "If I Stay," a juxtaposition the actress said she liked. "It sounds weird, but I'll take your word for it," a skeptical Kimmel said. Moretz also talked about training for seven months to learn the cello for the flick, and how her love of music leads her family to ask for her musical advice -- and take advantage of her DJ-ing skills.
Kimmel also introduced a bit in which "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison helped him pick out a tie to wear for the show, a bit that mimicked those other programs perfectly. Harrison and Kimmel discussed three different ties' appeal while sitting in a candlelit room, then Kimmel handed out a Final Rose to his selection, soundtracked by dramatic music. "Will you go around my neck?" Kimmel asked his choice, a striped silk number. The tie didn't answer, though we imagine it was shrieking and crying with joy on the inside.
"Masters of Sex" star (and first-time Emmy nominee) Lizzy Caplan stopped by "Conan" and recounted the tale of the first time she and co-star Michael Sheen shot a love scene. Caplan admitted the encounter was awkward, but not for obvious reasons. The actress said that immediately after they finished the first take of the scene in question, Sheen walked off set and vomited. "I thought it was a direct cause and effect," Caplan said of the traumatic experience.
Chelsea Handler spoke with "Boyhood" star Ethan Hawke on "Chelsea Lately," and the pair chatted about the film's unique pedigree of taking 11 years to make. Handler was impressed that all the actors remained committed to the project for so long, though Hawke revealed that director Richard Linklater's daughter, who played one of his kids, did have a moment of doubt when faced with a 6:30 a.m. call time. "All of a sudden, she's Marlon Brando," the actor said.
