"Orange Is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba may have won critical acclaim -- and her first Emmy -- for her role as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the Netflix series, but now she has her sights set on another show.
Aduba, who picked up the Best Guest Actress in Comedy statuette at the Creative Arts Emmys this weekend, revealed in an interview with E! that she'd love to appear on ABC's "Scandal," alongside fellow Emmy nominee Kerry Washington.
"I just want to hear Olivia Pope tell me 'it's handled' once," Aduba told E! of her dream guest-starring gig on the Shonda Rhimes show.
Considering Aduba's ascension into TV star status, we can't help but think that Rhimes and co. would be happy to arrange a cameo for the actress. (And she'd be easier to get than Rhimes's dream guest star, Bill Clinton.)
Aduba and her castmates will also appear at the Emmys next week to see if "Orange" walks away the Best Comedy trophy. The show airs on August 25 on NBC.
