Actors Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch were also rumored to be in negotiations for the second season of the series, which racked up multiple Emmy nominations this year after a celebrated debut on the premium cable channel.



TVLine's report emphasizes that Vaughn's attachment to the project is only in "preliminary" stages, and nothing has been confirmed by HBO just yet. While HBO programming president Michael Lombardo promised imminent casting news following the Television Critics Association press tour last month, viewers are still waiting for information about their beloved show.
