Bradley Cooper Once Asked a Question That Should Have Cost Him His Career (VIDEO)

bradley cooper louis ck question

Bradley Cooper is an Oscar-nominated actor who's starred in some Oscar-nominated movies: "American Hustle," "Silver Linings Playbook," "All About Steve" -- oh, wait... not that last one. In any case, one could argue that he enjoys a (mostly) successful, A-list career. But not too long ago (2009, to be exact), Cooper's "American Hustle" co-star Louis CK appeared on "The Stephen Merchant Show" and argued that said career should not exist. What failed logic is this?!

Referring to the acting students in the audience of "Inside the Actors Studio," CK quipped, "When an actor stands up -- one of the people in the audience -- and says, 'I am an actor, what can I do?' and asks Sean Penn or whomever... 'What can I do to reach your level?' or whatever and you just want to say, 'That's it. You never will be famous.'" Well, in 1999, Cooper appeared in the audience of Sean Penn's episode of "Inside the Actors Studio" and did just that.

Cue Louis CK, sitting in Bradley Cooper's kitchen, eating a bowlful of crow. Delicious, delicious crow.
