'Jurassic World' Wraps With a T. Rex Tease (PHOTO)

jurassic worldThe "Jurassic World" production officially wrapped on Tuesday, and director Colin Trevorrow celebrating by showing off a T. rex from the flick on Twitter.

The photo shows a "Jurassic World"-branded clapboard perched precariously in the jaws of a dinosaur -- though it appears to be either a plaster model or bones, not a fully fleshed-out tyrannosaurus. Either way, the image is goosebump-inducing, if only because it signifies that we'll get to see the finished "World" soon, and the full version of that dinosaur along with it.

Producer Frank Marshall also shared a snap from the set to celebrate the end of production, revealing that Bryce Dallas Howard's character, Claire, appears to be the last person we'll glimpse on-screen.

Not much is known yet about the plot of the long-awaited fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" series, though it is set at a working, modern day version of the park that John Hammond envisioned back in the 1994 original feature. A leaked park map from the finished Jurassic World park promises a host of dinosaurs and other prehistoric attractions that the brochure claims are suitable for all ages -- though we imagine that that idyllic landscape won't last for long.

"Jurassic World" also stars Chris Pratt, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, B.D. Wong, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, and Irrfan Khan. It hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
