This week, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," is unleashed upon the world, alongside an almost deafening amount of pre-release buzz. Based on the acclaimed and best-selling series of young adult novels by Suzanne Collins, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" imagines a future world wherein underdeveloped neighborhoods elect a child combatant to participate in The Hunger Games, a series of brutal activities where only one victor emerges alive. (It's also televised for the whole world, which adds a nicely satiric edge to the entire enterprise.)
In the new movie, the past participants are thrown into a version of the Hunger Games where they are competing against all of the past winners (sort of like "Survivor All Stars"), which puts our plucky leading lady Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in a sticky situation, since another point in her thorny love triangle (Josh Hutcherson) is also a victor. Awkward.
But we wondered what it would be like if other kids from the movies entered the Games. How would they fare? So, if you'll allow our "Last Action Hero"-style flight of fancy, here are ten movie kids who we would love to see battling it out with Katniss and the other district representatives for Hunger Games supremacy.
