I know people who, 15 years later, still can't watch "Office Space" because the satire of white-collar drudgery -- a mix of boredom, resentment, and fear of always imminent layoffs -- hits just too close to home. Sure, the comedy has been a cult favorite since its release 15 years ago this week (on February 19, 1999), but for all its cartoonish excess, there are way too many mundane-yet-absurd details of corporate life that the movie gets painfully right.
"Office Space" helped make a minor star out of Ron Livingston and launched the feature filmmaking career of "Beavis and Butt-head" and "King of the Hill" animator Mike Judge. It also featured a cast of comic MVPs, some of whom have gone on to greater glory, and others of whom are still awaiting their promotions. So, please read on to learn what became of the cast of "Office Space"... but not until you've finished those TPS reports.
