San Diego Comic-Con is a magical gathering of action, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and comic-book enthusiasts who want nothing more than to celebrate everything they, well... celebrate. The convention is an explosion of everything geek in the best way possible: Fans dress up, attend Q&A-filled panels ("Game of Thrones"! Marvel! "Walking Dead"! DC Comics!), walk the convention floor, and collect swag until their promotional swag bag burst at the seams.
But even though Comic-Con is open to anyone willing to pony up for pass, not everyone has the money (or vacation time) to attend. That's why we've wandered the convention floor (and the surrounding area) for you, gathering photos of some of the more intriguing aspects of the year's biggest fan event.
