So much for Café Grumpy. "Girls" co-star Allison Williams will be donning green tights and flying towards the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning for NBC's "Peter Pan Live!" Williams' character on "Girls" harbors her own musical aspirations, but who knew Williams herself was jonesing to star in a musical? And a "live!" TV musical at that?
Williams will be in good company. Christopher Walken is signed on to play Captain Hook, which we imagine will include lots of scenery chewing and the sweet dance moves Walken is known for. For a taste of Williams' chops, check out this rendition of Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" she did as part of a performance with Yale's improv group.
Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the characters on "Girls" to grow up.
