'Every Single Thing' In the 'The Walking Dead' Season Five Premiere Is a Spoiler

AMC's

Cast and crew of "The Walking Dead" have been dropping hints for months now about what viewers can expect from the upcoming fifth season of the show. They were at it again this weekend, as the group that sat for a panel discussion at San Diego Comic-Con also chatted with Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM station about the spoiler-ific season ahead.

Actors Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Danai Gurira (Michonne), and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) and executive producer Scott M. Gimple and co-executive producer Denise Huth spoke with EW's Dalton Ross about what lies ahead for the series, and just where the group might end up. Cudlitz hinted that "it certainly looks like we're heading to DC" to find a cure for the zombie outbreak, a quest that his character started at the end of season four.

But that's not all that's in store for fans of the hit AMC drama. According to Huth, it was difficult to edit together a trailer for the season premiere because "every single thing in the first episode is a spoiler."

Color us intrigued. Couple that statement with comments from co-executive producer Robert Kirkman from late last month about how the premiere will offer lots of answers about the mysterious folks at Terminus, and we've got ourselves a seemingly interminable wait for the new batch of episodes.

Season five of "The Walking Dead" premieres this October.
