In the new season of "Homeland," Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) might be a mother, but don't expect her to be any more touchy-feely.
Carrie is tougher, harsher, and more demanding than ever - flinging expletives left and right at pretty much everyone in a new extended preview released by Showtime.
Some things we learned watching the trailer: Carrie clashes with the CIA's chief in Pakistan (Corey Stoll); a drone strike that killed young girls becomes a viral video nightmare for the agency; Carrie leaves her baby, fathered by Nicholas Brody, behind with her disapproving sister; and she is forced to reluctantly ask Saul (Mandy Patinkin), now a private contractor, for help.
"Homeland" returns for its fourth season on Oct. 5.
