Simon Pegg Flies the Turbulent Skies in 'Hector and the Search for Happiness' (VIDEO)

In "Hector and the Search for Happiness," Simon Pegg stars as a shrink who decides to chuck it all and travel the world in search of answers. In this exclusive clip, a particularly turbulent plane ride gives Hector the chance to talk to a seatmate about life and love.

"If you look at this plane, you'll notice it's quite old. That means it's never crashed before. Should be quite reassuring," comments the woman next to him. Hector, who is maybe not such a great therapist, is amazed by her logic and resolves to have more empathy for his patients with flying phobias in the future. To take his mind off their mid-air mishegoss, she asks him if he has a family and ends up offering him a little unasked-for advice. "There's really only one question. Does this person bring you predominantly A. up or B., down?" Before he can answer, their little plane hits more turbulence and one of its passengers lays an egg. No, really. It's a chicken who lays an egg.

Toni Collette, Rosamund Pike, Stellan Skarsgard, Jean Reno, and Christopher Plummer also appear in "Hector and the Search for Happiness," which opens September 19, 2014.
