Madame Tussauds, the legendary London wax museum, has unveiled its latest figure honoring a famous person, and this time, it's a fictional character that's getting a (three-fingered) salute.
Katniss Everdeen, the heroine of the "Hunger Games" films, has received her own life-size waxwork at the museum. Decked out in her "Catching Fire" costume -- complete with leather jacket, oversized scarf, and bow and arrows -- the figure is an eerily accurate replica of the iconic Jennifer Lawrence character.
"We are hugely excited to have worked with Lionsgate to launch a Katniss wax figure following 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1,'" Madame Tussauds said in a statement about the new addition. "The figure is in its own film-specific backdrop, allowing our guests to get up close to Katniss and the beloved story of 'The Hunger Games,' which we know they'll love."
"Hunger Games" fans can also expect to spy Katniss waxworks at the New York and Hollywood Madame Tussauds locations soon.
