Best of Late Night TV: Pierce Brosnan Fails at 'GoldenEye 007,' Chloe Grace Moretz Fakes Cello (VIDEO)

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.



Pierce Brosnan was on "The Tonight Show" to promote his new movie "The November Man," but he talked about the little-known ridiculousness that goes into making the Bond films. He shared a particularly awkward filming moment involving skiing, and illustrated the situation by kneeling on the floor as Jimmy Fallon laughed his butt off at him. Jimmy, a huge James Bond fan, also went old school-ish with Pierce, breaking out his copy of the Nintendo 64 game "GoldenEye 007," one of his favorite video games ever. Pierce said he played the game once and shot himself in the foot - so the bar was low to beat him. Jimmy set up the game on the big screen and was so excited to take on Pierce. "Good luck, Mr. Bond." Poor Pierce could've used more luck, as you see in the video. But at least he lucked out on the genetic front - still a stone-cold fox at 61.

Chloë Grace Moretz, 17, was on "Chelsea Lately" and admitted she tried - for seven months! - to learn to play the cello for her upcoming movie "If I Stay," but they ultimately had to fake her cello scenes. She explained how they "cut my head off and put it onto another girl's body." So she had to sit still and try to play cello just with her head, knowing they'd fill in her body with an actual cellist. It sounds funny but it's actually not too different from Pierce's skiing story from the Bond film (see above). Chloe has four older brothers and one of them, Trevor, is her acting coach/manager and the reason she got into acting. She said her family is very down-to-earth - "Pabst Blue Ribbon" - and they don't know how she got into this whole Hollywood thing.

Over on "Conan," Jessica Alba - so stunning, as always - talked about her surprisingly sexy action figure, which she admitted is "inappropriate" for kids and really intended for adults. Jessica has had a few action figures over the years, and she said she keeps them in storage since it would be weird to have them around the house.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt - looking dapper in his gray suit - talked to David Letterman about his Emmy for "HitRECord" and his new movie role as tightrope walker Philippe Petit.

Novak Djokovic was also on the "Late Show" and talked about his tennis career, childhood in Serbia, and overall fitness level. Dave asked if he was in top physical condition. Novak: "Are you asking me to take off my shirt?" Lotta cheers for that question! Don't get too excited, though, it was just a tease. But his story is fascinating - growing up during the conflict in Serbia, waiting in line for bread and milk. It was a tough life, but he said it's a big part of his mental strength as an athlete. Very impressive interview.
