When you get a bunch of hormone-charged teenagers together for one of the most popular syndicated series ever, things are about to get crazy, as witnessed in a new trailer for "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story."
The latest clip from the new Lifetime movie shows stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Dylan Everett), Mario Lopez (Julian Works), Dustin Diamond (Sam Kindseth), Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Alyssa Lynch), Elizabeth Berkley (Tiera Skovbye), and Lark Voorhies (Taylor Russell McKenzie) both at work and at play, posing for promo shots while sniping at each other, flirting and making out, and enjoying wild parties. Gosselaar rides a motorcycle and gets threatened with grounding; Diamond punches a guy out for calling him Screech on the street.
While it all seems a bit over the top, we can't help but be excited to see how the whole flick shakes out. Its boasting that it's an unauthorized take on the behind-the-scenes "Bell" action certainly invites some skepticism to the proceedings, but taking Everett's severe blond dye job into account, we know what we're in for.
"The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" airs on Lifetime on September 1.
