Here Are The 2014 Golden Globe Nominations (Updated Regularly)

It's questionable how much bearing the Golden Globes (voted on by the mysterious and easily swayed Hollywood Foreign Press Association) has on the actual Academy Awards, but as the last big push before the Oscar telecast, it has some definitive oomph (whether real or imagined). While many like to point to the Golden Globes as a precursor to the Oscars, that isn't really the case - not only is it split between film and television (with both formats divided into dramas, comedies, and animated film sections) but many of the honorees have been wildly off base. Remember that, way back when, Madonna picked up a Best Actress award for "Evita." See what I mean?

But hey, who cares when the Golden Globes are so much fun? Without the pressure of, you know, being a real awards show, the stars can have a blast, mingling with one another (a little alcohol goes a long way) and this year's telecast will be, for the third (and final) time be hosted by the unstoppable duo of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

So, sit back and relax as we bring you all of the Golden Globe nominations as they're announced; commentary to follow.
