"The Imitation Game" is a pretty serious movie about a pretty serious topic: decrypting Nazi codes during World War II. A biopic about British mathematician Alan Turing (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), the film takes a close look at his recruitment, his work, his closeted homosexuality, and his untimely death.

"The Imitation Game" opens in Toronto theatres on December 12. It opens in Montreal and Vancouver on December 19. It'll open in the rest of Canada on December 25. It is already playing in the U.S.
