Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy, have welcomed their second child: Baby girl Frances Cole Fallon was born on December 3.
A rep for the couple released a statement to People confirming the news:
"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long," the statement reads.
"Their new addition joins big sister,Winnie Rose, [16 months]. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."
Little Frances's unexpected arrival prompted Fallon to cancel Wednesday and Thursday tapings of "The Tonight Show," though the host did offer up his appreciation -- and an adorable nickname for the new arrival -- for fans' understanding and well wishes via Twitter.
Franny sends her thanks.

Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, there will not be new episodes tonight or Thursday evening. http://t.co/21Ez3dm6M9

It's been a good week for Fallon, who was just named Entertainment Weekly's Entertainer of the Year. Looks like there will be plenty to celebrate in the Fallon household this holiday season.
Congrats to the happy family!
