After the Kansas City Royals clinched a bid to the World Series -- the team's first appearance in the baseball championship since 1985 -- with a win over the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday night, longtime Royals fan Paul Rudd knew of only one way to celebrate: Kegger at his mom's house.
Rudd, who grew up in Kansas and was present for Wednesday's victory, told local news station KMBC that he "lost his voice" and felt "amazing" following the win. When asked how he planned to mark the occasion, the actor joked that he was going back to his childhood home -- and invited fans watching to join in on the fun.
"I'm gonna be partying at my mom's house," Rudd told KMBC. " ... She's out of town. I got a keg. It's gonna be sweet."
But before the entire Kansas City area showed up at the Rudd family abode, the actor did have one rule.
"Five dollar cover!" he shouted.
Sounds like a pretty fair deal to us.
