John Cusack has been in showbiz for most of his life, so who better to comment on the sometimes-hellish behaviour of child stars?
In "Maps to the Stars," Cusack plays Dr. Weiss, a kooky west-coast yoga/massage therapist/guru, whose clientele includes celebrities. He's also the father to Benjie, an uber-famous child star with serious attitude problems (and that's putting it nicely).
Moviefone Canada chatted with Cusack at the Toronto Film Festival, where he revealed that yes, he's witnessed the kind of atrocious child-star behaviour depicted in "Maps." He also elaborated on his comment to The Hollywood Reporter that this movie is a "fever dream."
