'Marco Polo' Trailer: Worlds Collide on Netflix

The greatest adventure of all will soon be binge-watched.



The first trailer for Netflix's 10-episode series "Marco Polo" was just released, and its reported $90 million budget is evident in the lavish production values, sweeping vistas, and epic battle scenes. "Marco Polo" looks like the streaming service's bid for the next "Game of Thrones."



Lorenzo Richelmy stars the titular explorer who travels the Silk Road and ends up in the court of Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong), where sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll intrigue await.



All 10 episodes of "Marco Polo" will hit Netflix on December 12.
