Of all people, worldwide heartthrob Robert Pattinson should understand the perils of fame and what Hollywood can do to a person.
In his latest film, in David Cronenberg's "Maps to the Stars," Pattinson plays a back-seat role, which ironically has him in the front seat. He's a limo driver to the stars, and he spends the movie trying to break into Hollywood via auditions (and other methods).
Moviefone Canada spoke to Pattinson at the Toronto Film Festival, where he laughingly discussed the ugliness of Hollywood and the even-more-repulsive child actor phenomenon.
(Check out the video interview, above.)
"Maps to the Stars" opens in theatres on October 31.
