Harry Potter raps! Yes. Stop everything and watch Daniel Radcliffe rap Blackalicious' "Alphabet Aerobics" on Tuesday night's "Tonight Show." It's perfect. DanRad is always the best talk show guest. He has an American accent in "Horns" and said WWF wrestlers helped him perfect the accent. He said The Rock was always his favorite and his not-so-secret desire is to film a buddy cop movie with him. Dan also tried to give Jimmy some advice on doing accents; Jimmy's Cockney accent is horrible.
In the other video, George talks about dubbing his Brotherhood Without Banners superfans "knights." He used to send fans on quests to find local food, then dub them things like The Knight of the Haggis or whatnot. So Seth gave George some pizza, and Amy broke out her sword (lucky she remembered to bring one) so Seth could be knighted Sir Seth, Knight of the Pizza. Love it!
In her own separate interview, Amy talked to her old SNL buddy Seth about her new book. She shared a story that he knows well, when he had to host Weekend Update alone so she could give birth. Amy had hoped to have the baby on the Sunday after that Saturday's show -- which was hosted by Jon Hamm, in his first SNL hosting gig -- but that didn't work out. Turns out, her OB/GYN died the day before she was due. She burst into tears and asked who would deliver her baby now. So Jon Hamm put his hands on her shoulders and said, "This is a really big night for me, you need to get your sh-t together." Ha! Going from crying to laughing adds years onto your life, she said. Taylor Swift was on "Late Show with David Letterman," talking about her house parties for fans and how much she likes Lena Dunham. Taylor told Dave she would never write a "snarky" song about him because he's her favorite. She has a photo on her phone of fist-bumping with Dave and it's one of her favorite pics. Taylor said she hasn't had any lousy boyfriends in the last year and a half, so she hasn't had another snarky song about them. She said she's not just looking around for anyone right now. Watch her perform "Welcome to New York": British actor Tom Mison of "Sleepy Hollow" was also on "Late Show" talked about how he's enjoying the Southern hospitality of shooting the TV show in North Carolina. He has three rocking chairs and a swing. He finds it unnerving how friendly people are to him.
Nicole Kidman was on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," talking about how she will dress up for Halloween, and they already had a massive Halloween party last week, with 200 people. She also talked about playing a character with amnesia in "Before I Go To Sleep." She forgot the clip they were setting up to air on the show, and Jimmy said it's "poetic timing" since it's a movie about losing memory. Dylan McDermott was also on JKL, talking about his love for KISS. He's seen them 15 times; he hitchhiked three states to see them when he was a kid. He wore the full makeup and everything. He got to meet Gene Simmons when they were both in the stands at the Stanley Cup. Gene disappointed him with his response to his interest, and Dylan's own daughter didn't even want to be at the Stanley Cup game, so it was kind of a loss. Dylan has two daughters - one 9, one 18, and he got emotional when moving his older daughter into college.
Over on "Conan," Ashton Kutcher talked about the final season of "Two and a Half Men." Charlie Sheen apparently wants to return for the final episode and Ashton said he just kind of stopped listening to what Charlie says. He's like one of the adults on "Charlie Brown" now, it's just wah-wah-wah. So Ashton is clearly not a big fan. He's just glad Charlie is gone so he can have this great job.
