007 'SPECTRE': New James Bond Movie Slated For 2015

Bond is back and if the latest teaser if indicative with anything, he's back with a bang.

On Thursday, new details emerged about the 24th entry in the spy-movie franchise along with a 15-second announcement posted on Facebook which you can watch below.

While "SPECTRE" is the newest film in the James Bond saga, it's bringing back a few of familiar faces. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as Agent 007 and he'll be joined by Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw who are returning as M, Miss Moneypenny and Q, respectively.

Sam Mendes, the director behind the last Bond movie, "Skyfall", will also return to direct. Mendes made the news official on Thursday following a live-press conference in England at Pinewood Studios, the Guardian reports.

There, Mendes also confirmed a few long-standing rumours surrounding the newest 007 film. Both David Bautista, who is still riding his success as Drax from "Guardians of the Galaxy", and Oscar-winner Christopher Waltz will star along side Craig.

Story Continues After The Video Below

Waltz will play Mr. Oberhauser and is expected to lead SPECTRE, a terrorist organization which stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion, according to The Verge. The evil organization first debuted during the 1961 novel, "Thunderball", though it's uncertain if any changes will be made to adapt it to the big screen. What is certain is that Bautista's hulking figure will serve as Mr. Hinx, the physical foil to Craig's Bond.

Mendes also made one unexpected casting announcement: he revealed the make and model of Bond's new set of wheels. Expect Craig to ride around (and ultimately wreck) the Aston Martin DB10. The car maker also tweeted confirmation of the news early Thursday morning.

According to the CBC, on-location filming starts mid-December and will feature stops in Austria, Mexico and Morocco. "SPECTRE" is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.
