Every time we see the trailer for "Labor Day," we can't help but notice how much Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin are really, really into that peach pie.
As the convict and the single mom's hands entwine meaningfully over the slippery fruit, we're reminded of the all the times fruit, potter's clay, or even chess pieces, have been used in movies to convey the (supposedly) sizzling chemistry between two leads.
So what if we don't all get that turned on by making pie or eating lobster in real life? In the movies, everything is bigger, sexier and, often, a whole lot more ridiculous. Here are some scenes that make sure we'll never look at ordinary objects -- or our food -- the same way again.
