With awards season in full swing, the countdown to the Oscars begins!
This year, Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Judi Dench, and Sandra Bullock all earned Oscar nominations for their incredible performances, ranging from a troubled New York socialite to an astronaut lost in space. Other than Adams, each of the nominees has previously won an Oscar, however, only one will walk away with the coveted award in 2014. It's no secret Blanchett is the favorite, having swept the major Best Actress awards thus far, but anything can happen come Oscar night!
