Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are (reportedly) engaged to be married!
Us Weekly confirmed engagement rumors that began circulating after Heard was spotted trying to cover up a diamond ring on her left hand. The "Rum Diary" co-stars have not issued a public statement, but sources tell Celebuzz that the proposal took place on Christmas Eve.
Depp and Heard first met on the set of "The Rum Diary," but didn't acknowledge their relationship until after Depp announced his split from longtime partner Vanessa Paradis in June 2012.
Since then, the couple has been more public; they took Depp's children with Paradis, Lily-Rose and Jack, to Japan last summer. And they were photographed together (a rarity) at The Art of Elysium's 7th Annual HEAVEN Gala in Los Angeles (above) just before the 2014 Golden Globes.
Depp and Heard will reunite on screen this year in the crime drama "London Fields."
